Who we are   We are a digital protection tool created by x15ventures, CommBank's corporate venture scaler. Our mission is to empower every Australian to be in control of their identity and reduce the financial, emotional and social impacts of fraud.   Truyu helps Australians stay one step ahead of identity risk. We help you check where your personal information may have been exposed, monitor for identity and credit activity with Truyu Alerts, and act quickly with clear next steps and protective actions if something doesn’t look right.  x15ventures is wholly owned by CommBank so your identity and personal details are in good hands. All data is encrypted and stored safely in accordance with our Privacy Policy.   Role overview  We are seeking a Software Engineer to join Truyu,a venture within the x15ventures portfolio. You will contribute to building high-quality applications for our customers as we continue to evolve and scale the product. Working across the full technology stack, you will collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional partners to deliver a scalable digital protection product that our customers love.  Key Responsibilities  Design, develop, test and maintain reliable, secure and scalable software, with a focus on back-end systems and services  Build, manage and evolve Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code  Use and contribute to CI/CD pipelines covering applications and cloud infrastructure  Contribute to the reliability and operability of our production systems, including observability, monitoring and continuous improvement  Contribute to the design and implementation of technical solutions for functional and non-functional requirements  Build and evolve AI-enabled engineering systems that help us develop, review, operate and improve our software more effectively  Collaborate with engineers, product managers and other team members to deliver venture objectives  Participate in code reviews, pair programming and engineering discussions Follow and contribute to technology standards, policies and procedures that support safe operations    We are interested to hear from people who have experience in  3+ years of experience in software development, ideally in a start-up or fast-paced environment  Experience with back-end technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL  Experience building and operating cloud-based applications, preferably in Azure, including Infrastructure as Code  Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React and React Native  A delivery-focused, collaborative mindet and the ability to work effectively in a flexible environment  A willingness to learn, share knowledge and keep developing your technical skills    Nice to Have  Have a product-oriented mindset and be able to work closely with product managers to understand the needs of the end-users.  Passionate about fostering effective Engineering practices and processes.  Experience applying AI to software engineering workflows, developer tooling or engineering automation    Why Join Us?    Enjoy a flexible and dynamic startup environment   We nurture a safe space for our people to show up as they are!   Competitive salary and bonus structure   Opportunities for professional growth and development   Access to the best in class benefits that CommBank offers.      Research shows that people from underrepresented backgrounds sometimes hesitate to apply for roles if they don't meet every requirement.
