Trading Operation Trainee / Officer

About the role We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our Trading Operations team. Depending on your experience, you will be appointed as a Trading Operation Trainee (Fresh Graduates welcome) or Trading Operation Officer. You will gain hands-on exposure to trade execution, margin management, regulatory compliance, and system enhancements across traditional financial markets and the rapidly growing Virtual Asset space. Key responsibilities Execute and manage trading orders for clients and the company in an accurate and timely manner. Monitor client order flows, daily margin positions, and risk exposure; initiate margin calls and perform force liquidations when necessary in accordance with company risk guidelines. Prepare daily operational and trade reconciliation reports for management and regulatory compliance. Participate in system enhancement initiatives, workflow automation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and system implementation projects. Assist in drafting, updating, and maintaining operational manuals, internal control guidelines, and product documentation. Partner with internal departments to ensure high operational efficiency and maintain service standards. Assist the team in Equity Capital Markets (ECM) deal execution, including transaction structuring, documentation, and managing internal approval workflows. Perform other ad-hoc duties as requested by line manager. Requirements Bachelor's degree or above in Business or related discipline. Fresh graduates or candidates with less than 1 year of experience who possess a strong interest in financial markets and virtual assets. Officer level will be considered for candidate with 2 years of dealing or trade operations experience in a licensed brokerage firm. Knowledge or experience in the Virtual Asset / Crypto market and underlying blockchain concepts is an advantage. For Trainee (Fresh Graduate): Expected to study for and obtain the SFC RA1 (Dealing in Securities) license post-joining to fulfill job requirements. For Experienced Hire (Officer): Currently holding a valid SFC RA1 (Dealing in Securities) license. Understanding of regulatory frameworks governing traditional securities and virtual assets is an advantage. Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel). Detail-oriented, highly analytical, team player and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese).
