How Grab Your Job works
Where the roles come from
- Collected from employers’ own career sites and selected job boards every morning at 04:00 UK time (UTC).
- A role the employer takes down is closed at the next collection. A role with no closing date is closed after 60 days (180 for graduate schemes and internships).
- You always apply on the employer’s site; we do not take applications.
How the visa sponsor check works
- We download the Home Office register of licensed sponsors every day and match each employer to it by name.
- Employers registered under a legal name that differs from their brand are found through a list of known names and an AI check. Some are still missed, so “not on the register” means “not under this name”.
- Each role gets one verdict:
- Likely to sponsor: a Skilled Worker licence, and nothing in the posting or its pay against it.
- Check first: a licence, but B-rated, or pay that only meets the new-entrant rate (£33,400).
- Unlikely: the posting says it cannot sponsor, the pay is under the minimum, or the employer is not on the register.
- Salary rules are those from 22 July 2025: £41,700 in general, £33,400 for new entrants (under 26, recent graduates and others), and the occupation’s going rate. Check yours with the visa salary calculator.
- A licence means the employer can sponsor, not that every role is sponsored. Read the posting before you apply.
What happens to your CV
- Before CV matching or review, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, postcodes, links and ID numbers are removed from the text the AI sees.
- The AI runs through OpenRouter: DeepSeek, Jev (TypeSafe) and free models.
- A saved CV is stored encrypted and can be deleted at any time; deleting your account deletes it too.
- We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising. The detail is in the privacy policy.
