The Team You'll Join
Decanter is the world's premier wine media brand, renowned for expert journalism, fine wine events, and the Decanter World Wine Awards. Based in our London office on a hybrid basis, our marketing and digital teams connect over 660,000 wine lovers globally every month. We publish rich magazine editions, digital articles, and engaging social content across Instagram, Meta, and video channels. You'll join a creative, collaborative marketing team dedicated to growing our global social media presence and community engagement.
What you'll do
Reporting to the Head of Marketing for Decanter in London, you'll manage daily social media operations across all organic and paid channels. You'll partner with product editors and event marketing leads to create engaging posts for editorial, awards, and live events. In this role, you'll maintain brand consistency while introducing fresh social content formats to connect with new audiences.
On a daily basis, you'll design graphics in Canva or Photoshop, edit short-form videos, and schedule posts across platforms. You'll review engagement metrics using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Looker Studio to refine campaign strategies. Additionally, you'll attend Decanter events, interact with online followers, and collaborate with Future's central social media group.
Manage day-to-day social media channels, publishing schedules, and community interactions across Instagram, Meta, and emerging platforms.
Create engaging social copy, graphics, and short-form videos tailored to editorial, awards, and event campaigns.
Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to align social strategy with brand growth and subscription goals.
Review campaign metrics in Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and Looker Studio to optimize content engagement.
Support paid social campaigns by recommending target audience segments and monitoring conversion spend.
Attend flagship Decanter events to capture live social content, interviews, and behind-the-scenes coverage.
What you’ll bring
Demonstrable experience managing social media channels, organic campaigns, and digital content creation.
Proven skills in copywriting, graphic design with tools like Canva or Photoshop, and basic short-form video editing.
Proficiency with social management software and analytics dashboards like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, or Looker Studio.
Experience supporting paid social campaigns or community engagement strategies.
Strong communication skills with an ability to present social performance insights clearly to team leads.
Enthusiastic interest in wine, luxury lifestyle, or food and drink culture, with WSET qualifications being a plus.
Minimum Requirements
Experience creating social content, scheduling posts, and managing digital channels for a media, lifestyle, or commercial brand.
Practical experience using design tools like Canva or Photoshop and social analytics platforms like Meta Business Suite.
Ability to work from our London office on a hybrid basis and attend relevant UK events.
