Job Description
This is a chance to become a true expert in residential real estate valuation and strategic consultancy. Our market leading Residential Valuation & Advisory department doesn’t aim to be the biggest in the industry, but in what we do, we aim to be the best. We are involved in some of the most high-profile real estate clients across the UK.
This pathway will see you remain in residential valuation for the majority of your training, working in our Leeds team. As a valuer and strategic consultant, you will learn to understand an element of most aspects of residential real estate, as all valuers need to have a view on capital markets, the rental market and development. Valuation gives you the best grounding in real estate at the start of your career.
Although this is a non-rotational training programme, you will still have the opportunity to do one rotation of up to 3 months in another Cushman & Wakefield service line, to ensure you have the right experience to obtain your APC qualification. The graduate programme will provide the tools and support required to sit your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become an RICS accredited Graduate Surveyor by the end of your programme.
Our 2-year graduate programme offers a dynamic blend of learning and real-world experience, giving you an in-depth understanding of the commercial real estate sector and a head start in your professional journey. You will work on impactful projects, gaining new skills and invaluable insights into our business.
Throughout the programme, you’ll participate in discussion panels, Q&A sessions with senior leaders, training workshops, and networking events, all designed to enhance your development and expand your professional network.
Whether you’re currently studying Real Estate or another discipline but have a passion for property, this graduate programme offers a fantastic opportunity and provide you with the foundation for progression and a long and successful career at Cushman & Wakefield.
What we expect from you:
•High levels of self-motivation and commitment
•Strong mathematical and analytical skills
•Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
•Curiosity and a willingness to learn
•The ability to think critically and solve problems
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
Eligibility
•2.1 or higher in your undergraduate degree (If your undergraduate degree is not RICS accredited you will need to undertake a MSc whilst completing your graduate programme with us)
•GCSE grade ‘B/6’ in both Maths and English
•Successful candidates must by the start of their employment have permission to work in the UK
